They typically run both spec inventory for fast closings and to be built options in active phases.

Where Desert View wins

• Price per square foot. At the entry and mid bands, Desert View is consistently among the sharpest pencils in town. Buyers stretching to get into new construction often get there through Desert View.
• Speed. Volume building means spec homes in the pipeline. If your lease ends in 45 days, that pipeline matters.
• Simplicity. Streamlined options packages keep decisions manageable and budgets predictable, a genuine plus for first time buyers.
• Regional experience. Desert View has built across the borderland region for decades and understands desert construction conditions.

What I check for my Desert View buyers

• Included features versus upgrades. Sharp base pricing means the included feature list deserves a careful read. I compare the spec sheet line by line against competing builders so you compare real totals, not base prices.
• Lot premiums and placement. In value communities, lot selection drives resale more than finish upgrades. I steer buyers toward placements that hold value.
• Incentive conditions. Like most builders, advertised incentives usually ride with preferred lender arrangements. I run the outside lender comparison every time.
• Independent inspections. Standard for my buyers with every builder: an independent inspection, ideally including a pre drywall look, on top of city code inspections.
